Pictured is the logo proposed by Ferdinand Meyer V for the FOHBC Virtual Museum of American Historical Bottles and Glass project. As Ferdinand’s stated, ‘you can not go wrong with George Washington’. Take an embossing from a Portrait Flask, put it in a controlled circle with surrounding graphics and it all comes together. Ferdinand further stated that most clubs, shows and other bottle logos use grouping of bottles with the logo and that it was important for this logo to be different, historically American and controlled geometrically. Unfortunately, the art has one glaring ERROR which was pointed out to Ferdinand in a recent Board Meeting….
