While the Warner’s Safe Bottles & Posters display took both ribbons, you could rely on every person who visited the displays to say an extra “wow” to the outstanding Benicia Glass – Natures Tiffany display by Michael & Karen Peart and the Early American Glass & Seals display by Michael Mckintosh. Surrounding these dominant displays were other powerful displays on Hostetters Stomach Bitters, miniatures, Owl Drug, black glass, California whiskies, Schafer & Vater whiskey nips, western bitters, western digging history, insulators, gold rush artifacts, cod bottles, fruit jars, Jamaica gingers, U.S.A Hospital Department bottles and a fully loaded California apothecary cabinet. Many said it was the most exciting grouping of displays they have ever seen.
Lets use this post for a general overview. Many thanks are in order for our displayers and Russell Umbraco and Richard Siri for coordinating the displays.
